The hounds are about 14-18 inches (35-45cm.) high and they weigh about 20 pounds (9kg). The males are naturally bigger than females. The body of the hound should have a strong protruding sternum and a moderately retracted abdomen and the coat is short and easy to groom. Dog breeders may go to kennels and take photos.
